Help with external hard drives please!?

Is it possible to return to a removable hard disk? Because Windows is unable to detect USB HDD if it is a primary hard drive. Here's the scenario: 1) I installed Debian Linux [] on a computer 2) I connected my external hard drive 3) Linux offered me to ride my hard drive so it can be read on Linux because Linux could not Read before you drive. 4) After installation, Linux has changed my external hard drive on a primary hard drive of Windows NO. 5) Now, my external hard drive can be read on Linux, but Windows does not work. 6) Before installing the hard drive for Linux, could use an external hard drive in Windows. 7) I would like to change this [hard drive External hard core now] disk drive in a normal external hard drive so that I can beat us again with Windows. The hard drive has a system of NTFS. I can not find any online help then maybe you could? Thank you:)

You can only solve this from Linux, for the first backup data, then fdisk carefully so that appropriate signage. I had the opportunity to use a disk external, but I guess that should be visible as a Windows primary partition, unless you already have 4 partitions too. But I bet that the configuration of the flag can solve without having to reformat the disk.
