Music from iPod to Computer using Terminal Command.?
I just had my computer restored by Apple and lost everything that wasn't backed up. Unfortunately I lost all of my music in my iTunes except for what is on my iPod which is about 99% of it. The Apple Genius told me that I would need an external hard drive just to back up my music which is about 7,000 songs + movies + TV shows.
But anyways when I first got my computer I found a command to use in terminal that would allow me to take my music from my iPod and transfer it to my computer.
It was something like
kill all Finder or something like that
anyone know? or a diff way?

You don't need to use the terminal utility. There is a program called Senuti which will transfer all items on your iPod back to your computer. Go to www.macupdate.com and search for Senuti.
